1. What is Trusonic?

Trusonic is a music and messaging service for retailers, restaurants and businesses worldwide. Trusonic clients get their own easy-to-use online account that gives them instant control and flexibility, not available through traditional satellite, tape and CD distribution methods. Our VARs can work with you to develop highly customized schedules to suit the needs of your marketing efforts, employees and customers. We offer styles of music for any business environment, sourced from outstanding independent and major-label artists around the globe.

2. What are the key features of Trusonic?

Terrific Music: Trusonic knows music. We also work with you to know your business and offer the best programming for your branding and merchandising objectives - whether it's employee after-hours schedules, holiday schedules, or two in-store playlists running simultaneously on separate floors, Trusonic offers the right music at the right time.

Messaging and Advertising Capabilities: Insert promotions, audio advertisements or employee messages to your music playlists. In-store messaging features deliver highly targeted marketing messages at the point of purchase. Telephone-on-hold messaging connects with your existing phone systems and reaches customers while they wait on hold. You'll have the ability to make updates within 24 hours.

Revenue-Generating Possibilities: Trusonic was created with your revenue goals in mind. You can easily allocate ad space to outside advertisers as well as promote your own business. You can even give your advertisers detailed weekly reports to help them make media-buying decisions.

Ease of Use: The "plug-and-play" hi-fi store unit requires minimal installation time and little or no maintenance. Playlists for multiple retail or business locations are centrally managed from a single online, password-protected account, so no action is required at the store level.

3. How does Trusonic work without tapes, CDs or satellites?

The system utilizes two key components: a Trusonic Player and the password-protected Client Online Account. Each of your business locations will receive a Trusonic Player which functions as your playback device. The Client Online Account shows all of your business locations, your music playlists and any ads or messages you might have scheduled. All playlist and messaging updates will take place here. Each Trusonic Player will connect to the Client Online Account on a nightly basis to check for schedule updates. Thus, any schedule changes that you make will commonly take place the following business day.

4. Do you offer music and messages on-hold?

Yes. You can insert promotions, audio advertisements or employee messages to your music playlists. In-store messaging features let you deliver highly targeted marketing messages at the point of purchase. Telephone-on-hold messaging connects with your existing phone systems and reaches customers while they wait on hold. Plus, you'll have the ability to make updates within 24 hours.

5. How can I make money with Trusonic?

Trusonic was created with your revenue goals in mind. You can easily allocate ad space to outside advertisers as well as promote your own business. The number and frequency of advertisements are controlled entirely by you, and you can even give your advertisers your detailed weekly reports to help them make media-buying decisions.

6. Are the music playlists streamed to my store?

No, it's downloaded and stored (cached locally) on the Trusonic Player to provide clear, uninterrupted digital quality playback.

7. Where does the music come from?

The outstanding music in Trusonic's playlists come from major label catalogs as well as the best independent artists.

8. What types of music styles appear in the playlists?

Pop, dance, rock, adult contemporary, alternative, country, jazz, classical, urban, world beat and hip hop. Our playlists are completely customizable. Our expert programmers will work with you to develop a music strategy that best serves the unique needs of your business.

9. Do I need an Internet connection? Do I need DSL?

No, Internet service is included with Trusonic. All we need is access to an existing operational phone line. Service requirements will be determined on a contract by contract basis. DSL service is not a requirement of the service.

10. How often can I change music or messaging playlist schedules?

Music and messaging schedules can be modified at any time and as often as you like. The Trusonic Player is set to connect with your Client Online Account on a nightly basis. So any changes you make will go into effect the next day.

11. Do I need special sound equipment?

Because the Trusonic Player is compatible with most standard audio-playback systems, all you need is a wired amplifier and wired speakers. Both of these can be purchased from an electronics equipment retailer if you do not already have them. You can contact our sales staff with specific questions about system requirements.

12. How do I set up my service?

To set up your music service, simply contact a Trusonic representative. Once your representative works with you to determine the type of music strategy that best suits your needs, you will be connected with a value-added reseller (VAR). Our nationwide network of VARs provides on-site service to Trusonic subscribers.
