Mark Elfenbein, President
Mark has over 15 years experience in the music and entertainment industry. Prior to joining Trusonic he was COO of LiveUniverse, a network of 30+ online music and video sites with over 40 million users. Prior to LiveUniverse he was SVP of Business Development for Fun Technologies where he co-founded SkillJam.com (now known as Worldwinner.com) which is the Internet's largest online pay to play gaming company with over 20 million registered members. Fun Technologies was acquired by Liberty Media in 2006. Throughout the 1990's, Mark was VP of A&R and Sales for K-tel International which was the music industry's largest compilation company where he executive produced over 150 music compilations and received a Billboard music award and RIAA Gold record. Mark is a voting member of the Recording Academy Grammy awards as well as Latin Grammy awards.
Daniel K. O'Neill, Executive VP and CTO
Dan O'Neill leads Trusonic's engineering and operations organization where he is responsible for software development, customer service, music services and technical operations and strategy.
Prior to Trusonic, Dan was the Chief Technology Officer and Vice-President of Engineering for Vivendi Universal Net USA from June 2002 to June 2003 and Vice President of Engineering for MP3.com from March 1999 through June 2003. Dan was instrumental in the design and implementation of the Trusonic technology and services. Dan's organization provided the infrastructure design and data management services for Trusonic, MP3.com, MP4.com, Pressplay.com (sold to Roxio and renamed Napster in May 2003), Getmusic, eMusic, rollingstone.com and custom marketing and data management applications for the Universal Music and Universal Studios group. From June 1990 through March 1999, Dan worked with Cadence Design Systems, Inc. as a Sr. Member of the Consulting staff. Prior to Cadence Dan was the manager of systems engineering at Automated Systems, Inc. which was acquired by Cadence Design Systems in 1990.
Dan holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Santa Clara University. Dan is on the board of advisors/directors for the Santa Clara University Computer Engineering department, Deltyme Corporation and EVDB, Inc. Dan is also a member of the Leavey School of Business IPO Hall of Fame.
